Our work
The County Office of Sustainability and Environmental Justice is the San Diego region’s central space to bring together community, local public agency, and regional environmental and climate justice priorities, work, and goals. We work to collectively achieve zero carbon emissions through our activities by:
- Supporting the County’s organization- wide efforts to identify and implement sustainability actions
- Elevating existing and co-creating new regional initiatives
- Building bridges between geographies, programs, and people
- Uplifting regional and community values
- Supporting tangible sustainability outcomes through efforts that address environmental justice
Our office is uniquely positioned to support sustainability solutions across both the entire San Diego region and in day-to-day County operations.
