Types of grants
The Board of Supervisors funds two grant programs that support local nonprofit organizations and public agencies, such as cities and school districts. You may be eligible for both programs, but each one has a different focus.
Community Enhancement Grant
What it funds
This funds cultural activities, events, and programs that promote tourism and economic development in the region.
Neighborhood Reinvestment Program Grant
What it funds
This funds one-time projects and community needs, including:
- Capital projects (constructing or improving buildings)
- Equipment, materials, or supplies
- Food or beverages, including animal feed
- Technology services
How to apply
Applications are open year-round. Supervisors choose which applications get grants. They may award the full amount you request or a smaller amount.
